LONDON (21st August 2020) – In celebration of Disney and Pixar’s latest animated feature – Onward, Square Enix Ltd. announced the launch of a new movie themed event taking place in its epic mobile-RPG KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ[Cross]. Now until 1st September, 2020, players can take part in a variety of magical challenges that will allow them to earn in-game Medals modelled after the animated film’s lead characters, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest to rediscover the magic that once existed in their world.

- Special Login Bonus – Players can collect the brand-new Ian Lightfoot Medal, and corresponding Trait Medals, in addition to other rewards, as a special login bonus during the campaign period.
- Weekly Jewel Extravaganza – Players will receive the Ian & Barley Medal and more, including Jewels, the corresponding Trait Medals and access to special quests, by purchasing this pack available from 24th August.
- Event Reward – Players can earn the Barley Lightfoot Medal and corresponding Trait Medals through a special in-game themed event.
